Senator Markwayne Mullin accused some Democratic senators of being drunk on the job, as he pointed out their blatant "hypocrisy" of holding Pete Hegseth to a standard they could never attain.

'What if you showed up drunk to your job?' How many senators showed up drunk to vote at night? Have any of you asked them to step down? Don't tell me you haven't seen it because I know you have! How about a divorce for cheating on their wives? Have you asked those senators to step down? You guys make a big show. The man [Pete Hegseth] made a mistake, and you wanna sit there and say he's not qualified? Give me a joke. You guys hold yourselves to this "higher standard" and yet you have a big plank in your eye.

Mullin is not having it when it comes to the foolish liberal hypocrisy against Hegseth. And this is exactly why the saying, “The only standards Democrats have is double standards,” exists. These people spend all their efforts on their comical political theater and it’s not fooling anyone.

The fact that Senate Dems have found the nerve to claim he is unqualified to lead the Defense Department is deeply unserious, as they couldn't care less about qualifications.

If confirmed, Hegseth will replace Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.

The fact that this is the current Defense Secretary's priority speaks volumes about what these people prioritize—nearly everyone but the American people.

The Dems have become the party of war, whether they admit it or not.

The fact that the left defends all of that is a disgrace to the people they represent and one of the major reasons they lost the election.

That being said, it’s unclear how many senators showed up drunk while pretending to represent the American people.
