Not sure who this indigenous specimen is from WEF, but it didn't stop Elon Musk from having a field day with her on X
It is time to do our daily check-in of Davos and it looks like Elon has already said what we are all thinking.
Right now there is a video circulating social media of what appears to be a woman dressed up in Indian attire. And I mean Pocahontas Indian, not 711 Indian. Or as Elon would say, Elizabeth Warren Indian.
In the clip, she can be seen doing some sort of rain dance or spirit dance or something.
Thank you, Elon. You have said what we are all thinking.
That was hard to watch. Just imagining that woman in my face like that makes me want to scream. What exactly does blowing on someone like that do?
Why is this happening at the World Economic Forum? Well, it is probably because that is how much respect they have for all of us. Which is no respect at all.
These unelected overlords want to rule every single aspect of our entire lives. Down to the point of us eating bugs and living in a closet. They have an opinion about anything and everything. But the thing is, no one elected them. No one asked them. And no one likes them. But the global disgust for these self-appointed tyrants won’t get in the way of them trying. Narcissistic sociopaths don’t care what you have to say.
Couldn't have said it better, myself.
According to the WEF, this year's annual meeting launched "The Indigenous Peoples’ Knowledge and Leadership Network."
Indigenous leaders from around the world are attending World Economic Forum’s 2024 Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland to share their unique perspectives in charting a way forward.
From speaking on the balance of nature and economies to reconciling cutting-edge technologies with Indigenous knowledge, this year’s intergenerational cohort of Indigenous leaders will join a range of sessions reflecting the perspectives of long-standing and next-generation leadership.
They want us to go back to caves. They want us to live without everything that has advanced society thus far. What sort of "cutting-edge technology" have "Indigenous leaders" brought to the table? What economy has thrived under "Indigenous knowledge"? And what sort of information will "The Indigenous Peoples’ Knowledge and Leadership Network" have that the rest of the Western World does not have?
Can Indigenous knowledge benefit the West? No, it absolutely cannot do anything for us but help destroy our thriving economies. And I am not trying to insult a vague group of people. I am just saying that the West has advanced and grown more than any group of people and that had nothing to do with vague "ancient knowledge".
What is also infuriating about this is that it is forced cultural imperialism. And for the record, to imply that a significant amount of people with "indigenous" blood still live like it was in the 1500s is insulting.
The point is, that " Indigenous Knowledge" is just a longwinded way of saying "tradition". And if there is any tradition that has valid evidence that it would benefit society, I am all for that. But just because a certain group of people has a tradition - that alone does not mean it is valid. It is just another way of saying Western Culture is bad.
