A man with a knife concealed in a traditional loose-fitting Muslim robe has attacked a customer carrying a pack of beer in a Paris supermarket, local media reports. The weapon was allegedly hidden inside the attacker's djellaba, a Muslim long loose-fitting robe worn usually in Maghreb region of North Africa.

Le Point [newspaper] cited a source close to the investigation as saying that the suspected attacker was born in Paris in 1996. He was arrested in the north of French capital on Wednesday morning.

This Parisian guy wanted to buy a pack of cold ones. And, clearly, this Muslim man was just trying to get his stab on. Tale as old as time. Brewski and the bayonet. Yet police are still struggling to find a motive...

Police still have yet to determine the motive for the assault. The initial investigation found that radicalization played no part in the attack ...

Yes, the only thing radical about this video is how the stabbee's friend managed to neck check his stabber. At risk of getting impaled themselves, that person poked the halal out of Mohammad's gullet. All in an attempt to save a friend. True friendship.

Also, this guy is definitely an extremist, or, as we refer to them, a moderate Muslim. You'd think after having so many run-ins with terrorism, the French police force would recognize radicalism when they see it stabbing someone. But Europe prides itself in its non-Islamophobia, so here we are (see French Politicians Double Down, Lie About Refugees Living in Streets of Paris)...

France likely won't admit it, but this case practically spells out Islamic motives. The attacker's religious garb tells us as much. As does the Koran, which encourages fileting infidels. But right. Let's quibble over what a motive could be.
