Sure, Kamala Harris has eleventy celebrities endorsing her for president, but Donald Trump picked up a big endorsement himself. Last week, he was endorsed by Ameer Ghalib, the DEMOCRAT Mayor of Hamtrack, Michigan. And I know some of you are probably saying, "Hey Brodigan, "Ameer Ghalib?" That doesn't sound like a Presbyterian."

Correct! A Muslim Mayor in Michigan, from a town that is the only majority Muslim town in America, just endorsed Donald Trump for President over the candidate from his own party.

Though it's looking good, he may or may not win the election and be the 47th president of the United States, but I believe he is the right choice for this critical time. I'll not regret my decision no matter what the outcome would be, and I'm ready to face the consequences.

For this, and for many other reasons, I announce my support and endorsement for the former, and hopefully, the next president of the United States, Donald Trump. Now, let the Caravan begin its journey. This is just the starting point.

Here's the thing with any political endorsement. Most of them are bullsh*t unless the person making the endorsement is taking a risk. A celebrity endorsing a Democrat isn't a risk. Everyone expects celebrities to do so. Crossing party lines when you are in a swing state is taking a risk. And while there has been a lot of attention placed on Michigan post-October 7th, Ghalib just endorsed Donald "Israel's Best Friend" Trump over Kamala "There Are Very Fine People On Both Sides" Harris.

This endorsement stands out because Ghalib, as an elected mayor, has his own political operation. He has a better understanding of the "lay of the land" than a journalismer from NYC or DC would. He's also an elected official in Wayne County, one of THE bellwether counties in all of the United States of the Americas.

If a Democrat Mayor is willing to cross party lines, he is doing so because he has data at his disposal that leads him to believe Donald Trump is going to win.

Ghalib could hate Kamala for any number of reasons. He could not say anything. Or give an un-endorsement. Instead, he is actively endorsing the pro-Israel Republican for President.

It's not an Instagram post of him holding a cat. But it still means something.
