The leftist trend in recent times has been dissing conservatives for "separating children from their illegal immigrant parents." They're trying every tactic in their lefty playbook to score points on the right, including oddly convenient religious awakenings.

Take this knee-slapper for example. Nancy Pelosi is pulling the hypocrite card on Christians for not doing enough to encourage illegal immigration. Yes, really:

Nancy Pelosi called Attorney General Jeff Sessions and “all people of faith in our country” hypocrites for not demanding a stop to immigration policy enforcement.

Pelosi lambasted Sessions for quoting the Bible and chastised people of faith for not calling for a path to citizenship for DACA recipients. She also criticized him for not demanding an end to the separation of children from families of illegal immigrants during the prosecution of adults.

Pelosi then claimed that her interest in politics stemmed from her “concern about children” and her experience as a mother of five.

It's amusing. Nance's heart weeps at the sight of illegal kiddos being kept at a separate detention facility than their criminal parents. "I mean, it's not like we separate American younglings from their criminal parents when the sword of justice falls."

On the other hand, Pelosi has no problem with doctors separating children from their brains. Yet Christians are the hypocrites. Oh, the irony.

It's amusing to see the left taking the religious "high ground" when it suits them. On a normal day, lefties are perfectly happy to fly in the face of the almighty. But, if crossing themselves and quoting Big Jeezy will score a few hits on the right, they're suddenly true believers. Yeah, I don't think anyone is going to be falling for such bullhickey anytime soon.
