It's become a common quip for critics to say that Nancy Pelosi has gotten into the sauce. That she's three sheets to the wind. That she's half in the bag. That she's sh*tfaced drunk. That's what critics say. As any "independent" "fact" checker will tell you, that's not true. Nancy doesn't drink. The only logical explanation for some of her less-than-coherent moments is that, much like our senile and possibly dementia-ridden president (again, according to critics), Nancy Pelosi's brain is more pudding than synapses.

If you listen closely, every time she took an uncomfortable pause like she forgot where she was, or whenever she did a weird thing with her hands, you could hear at least five aides facepalm each other in unison. I'd say someone would get fired, but Pelosi's legislative team has started to blame everything on Chuck. No one knows who Chuck is. He was just the first name that came to mind. Chuck has been fired seventeen times.

Nancy Pelosi is (somehow) still Speaker of the House, even though embarrassing performances like this are happening more and more frequently. I'm not saying I agree with the assessment that seeing Pelosi and Biden propped up behind microphones is why Putin chose now to invade. A majority of Americans think that, sure. I might think so, too. I'm just not SAYING I agree. Thast would be mean.
