This is why I call Nancy Pelosi the greatest Democrat leader who has ever lived. Shutdown Schumer saw what happened when you shutdown the government over illegal immigrants (see Mainstream Media Outlets Surprisingly Tell the Truth About the Shutdown and Ben Shapiro on Government Shutdown: Schumer is a Loser). He learned his lesson. Nancy Pelosi saw that as a challenge. She countered with an eight hour "magic minute." A "magic minute" is the House's version of the filibuster. Also known as a cheap political stunt.

Though not all Democrats are amused. There are some sane ones who think embracing illegals as the most important part of the Democrat coalition this week is a bad idea. All this, after Speaker Crumbs continues to rail against the middle class getting a tax cut. Again, the greatest Democrat leader who has ever lived.

This is why people like me, who are Trump agnostics at best, don't sweat him all that much. As turbulent as he can be, the Democrats always go eleventy times overboard. If Trump's ego would allow it, he could just not speak for the next eight months. Let leftists continue to do leftist things.  Leave the Democrat party to eat themselves. Especially when anyone dares challenge Pelosi's leadership.
