NBC Gives Ron DeSantis A “Half True” Over Evacuating Americans From Israel... Because He Didn't Fly The Plane Himself
The job of a “fact checker” is not to check facts, rather its entire intent is to mislead for political purposes. What we have now is left-wing public journalists acting as the arbiters of truth.
The left tends to manipulate language to gaslight people into accepting leftist opinion as truth, even though it never is. And everyone reading this probably knows that fact-checks are just leftists trying to alter the truth to align with their political beliefs.
Another thing the left and fact checkers love to do is justify their lies by taking words and viewing them in a way that is so literal, that it portrays their falsehoods.
For example, if you say “It is raining cats and dogs,” the fact-checkers will say that this is only half true because it wasn't technically raining cats and dogs but it was raining a lot.
However, to anyone with a brain, this proves how hard leftists have to try in order to manipulate the truth. But to any other progressive, all they see is the word “half true” and case closed.
During last night's Republican debate, Ron DeSantis said he “sent planes over to Israel” and “brought back over 700 people to safety.”
But according to NBC, this is only half true because he never actually flew the planes.
“On Oct. 12, DeSantis signed an executive order that allowed the Florida Division of Emergency Management to pay for Americans in Israel to fly back to the U.S. The flights, however, were organized by Tampa-based nonprofit Project Dynamo, which specializes in rescuing Americans in distress, and DeSantis’ primary role was to fund the flights,” NBC wrote.
In other words, he didn’t bring anyone back from Israel because he only funded the flights, he didn't actually fly the plane. DUH.
DeSantis signed the executive order just days after the Oct. 7 terrorist attack. “We will not leave our residents behind,” DeSantis said during the signing. “To the many Floridians who are stuck in Israel, trying to get home — help is on the way.”
Quick question for NBC: How would those 700 Americans have gotten home if DeSantis never signed the executive order? Would they still be in Israel?
If we use NBC’s logic, this is probably why the left believes nothing is Biden’s fault. You know, because he did not actually fly a plane or drive a bus that brought any of the migrants over. DUH.
All this really alludes to the problem we have with the left distorting facts with their word choices in an effort to deceive people.
As Orwell would say, “If thought corrupts language, language can also corrupt thought.”
