While you were weekending, California Senator Dianne Feinstein croaked. Gov. Gavin Newsom appointed a new Senator of which the cynicism should be marveled at and studied. Not only does SHE check off THREE boxes on the Left's preferred most marginalized rankings, but she is also a pro-abortion extremist who doesn't even live in California. It's impressive.

Let's start with Feinstein. She gone. Critics say she's been dead for a while and it just took her body to catch up with her. The now-former California Senator died hours after voting on ANOTHER piece of legislation she was too senile to understand.

Newsom pledged to appoint a black woman to fill the role. He could have just appointed someone who happened to be both black and a woman. In his virtue signaling, he wanted to make sure you knew that she was only getting the job because a) of her uterus and melanin, and b) his mayonnaise-looking male ass was allowing it. Meet Laphonza Butler.

Here's the thing. If Newsom wanted to appoint someone whose only qualifications were her gender and skin color, he could have appointed Congresswoman Barbara Lee. She checked both boxes and was already running to be Senator. Newsom scored the hat trick by appointing someone who has a third qualifier: Butler is also a lesbian. And an abortion extremist lesbian at that.

She's the President of Emily's List, whose mission statement is to support other abortion-extremist female candidates for elected office. Because of her job as a swamp creature, she and her partner live in Maryland. Not California, which is over 2800 miles away.

Gavin Newsom had an entire state of black, female, lesbians who were every bit as extreme on abortion. He went with one who doesn't live in the state, is registered to vote in a different state, and already lives inside the Beltway. A more fitting example of Democrat Party politics I could not imagine.

Newsom is scheduled to debate presidential candidate Gov. Ron DeSantis on November 30th.
