Funny thing about gun rights activists, or as I like to call them, patriotic Americans. When you tell them they can't have guns, they have a habit of saying, "ackshually, yes we can!" This was the case on Sunday in New Mexico where a diverse group of open carry advocates told the governor where she could peacefully and patriotically stick her gun ban.

Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, who lists George Soros as a donor, announced on Friday, "I issued a 30-day ban on the open & concealed carrying of guns in Albuquerque and Bernalillo County." She claimed gun violence was a public health crisis and declaring it as such gave her emergency powers to do so. Not unlike how Joe Biden and Donald Trump, under the direction of Anthony Fauci, used the guise of a public health crisis to lockdown businesses and mask up your children.

Grishman went so far as to say her sworn duty of upholding her oath to the Constitution is, quote, "not absolute." It was a comment so stupid, even gun-grabbing douchelords like David Hogg were all like, "Bitch, really?"

Sunday afternoon, New Mexicans gathered in the town square to exercise their First Amendment rights about their Second Amendment rights.

"All we want to do is protect our families, our friends, our communities," said one unidentified speaker. "I’ve gone on two combat tours with the Marine Corps and fought on the front lines. I’ve done 11 trips as an independent contractor. She thinks she has the right to take away my freedom to protect my community, I don’t think so."

Speakers and people in attendance were openly carrying firearms in defiance of the governor's unconstitutional order. Police were not enforcing it. Bernalillo County Sheriff John Allen has also expressed reservations. "The temporary ban challenges the foundation of our Constitution, which I swore an oath to uphold. I am wary of placing my deputies in positions that could lead to civil liability conflicts, as well as the potential risks posed by prohibiting law-abiding citizens from their constitutional right to self-defense."

Every Republican everywhere in America needs to send this broad a muffin basket. Not only did Gov. Grisham expose what the Democrat Party's endgame is when it comes to gun rights, but she also validated the "conspiracy" theory that after the pandemic, leftist twats were going to see what other emergency powers they could get by declaring something a "public health crisis."
