New Study: Majority of Minorities Haven't Faced Discrimination
Kudos to those meddling kids over at Campus Reform for this one. A study was conducted to examine the horrible RACISM! and DISCRIMINATION! problems liberals blast us with as often as they wipe their own sniveling schnozes. But uh oh, the study concludes RACISM! and DISCRIMINATION! is not as widespread as you might think:
The study, led by Professor Brian Boutwell, consisted of reviewing response data from a survey of more than 14,000 Americans, finding that the vast majority claim to have “never” or “rarely” been a victim of discrimination.
How can that be? I thought all white people were hateful bigots who petition the government to make Justin Bieber a musical god?
The results, relatively consistent across racial lines, found that only 25 percent of Americans responded “yes” to ever experiencing discrimination.“For the entire sample, about 25 percent claimed they had felt discriminated against. It was lower than what we might have thought going into it,” Boutwell told Campus Reform.
Now, here's where most leftists will stop reading and say, "YOU'RE DENYING DISCRIMINATION EXISTS YOU WHITE MALE OPPRESSOR!!!" and "25% is TOO MUCH! SEE, SEE, AMERICANS ARE HATEFUL KILLERS OF JOY!"
Slow your roll, Junior.
"People have rightly pointed out that 25 percent of the population is a lot of people,” Boutwell told Campus Reform. “That’s still millions of people. That's far higher than what we'd like to see. Ideally, you want that number increasing towards the mythical zero point.”He went on to say that “we always want to be striving for a lower percentage of folks that feel discriminated against. But even so, when you have three quarters of the sample saying ‘no,’ that's an interesting finding. And that was true across racial and ethnic groups."
So yes, 25 percent is more than zero percent, which is where America should be. We can all agree there.
But doing math, that means 75% have not experienced discrimination. That's more than the glass is half full. That glass is 3/4 full, my babies. Drink it up, me hearties yo ho.
Problem is 25% discriminated against is a lot less than the 117% leftists want you to believe America is (see Greg Gutfeld Weighs in: Harvey Destroyed Liberals’ Grim Worldview of America and Passionate Leftists Organize ‘Anti-Racism!’ March From Charlottesville to DC, But it Flops).
I just hope Professor Boutwell has someone testing his food or starting his car for him. The left doesn't take too kindly when you question their ideology or erroneous "facts."
