The left is known for trying anything to earn themselves more votes. From shameless pandering to rigging the system in their favor, the left will go to any lengths to get their way. Take their latest push, for example. Progressives up in the Empire State have a new plan to win seats teach youngsters the importance of civic engagement. Lowering the voting age to seventeen. Yes, really.

Political and social activism is surging in America. Protest groups are springing up across the country. Concerned citizens are marching in the streets to support science, women's rights, justice and immigration. Congressional offices are flooded with calls from constituents.

Sorry, couldn't let this one slide. "Concerned" citizens isn't one hundred percent accurate. People who are marching to "support science, women's rights, justice, and immigration" are rabble-rousing dunderheads who might be bought and paid for by George Soros. But let's move on.

And much of the renewed political and social activity is being carried out by high school students — many of them committed and informed activists, yet still too young to vote.

Not so much "informed" so much as "lining their pockets with Soros cash and skipping class, maybe later writing an essay about it for their woke liberal teachers."

It is time to give those students a voice in government.

That’s the goal of the New York Young Voter Act, a bill the Youth Progressive Policy Group is pushing with the support of Assemblyman Robert Carroll (D–Brooklyn) and State Sen. Brad Hoylman (D–Manhattan). The bill — A.6839/S.5646, if you want to look it up — would lower the voting age in New York State to 17 in all local and statewide elections.

Right, because if there's anyone who is intelligent or mature enough to vote, it's a seventeen-year-old...

Sounds like a great idea. If you're a leftist, that is. The left is entirely dependent on convincing the ill-informed and the not-so-intelligent to go along with the donkey farts they call policies. So, what better voting block to try to lock up than seventeen-year-olds? Honestly, it's not the craziest idea they've ever had.

We've seen some sketchy behavior from leftists when it comes to our electoral process. From "accidentally" giving illegal immigrants voter registration forms, to threatening to set the electors who voted for Trump ablaze, leftists have an endless bag of tricks to get their comrades in office.

Of course, any attempt to rectify one of those "voting errors" gets met with an immediate pull of the race card. The left claims showing your ID at the polls racist, because black people aren't intelligent or capable enough to find the DMV or use the internet. Yet, we're the racists.

If there's a new method, legal or otherwise, of squeezing in a few more votes, you can bet the left will give it a shot. Leftists would lower the voting age to four-years-old if they could. Give the little tykes a free Snickers bar or two and they'd be dedicated Democrats. For the left, that's just business as usual...
