Under the guise of being so incredibly inclusive and tolerant, one leftist has complained to a Washington State City Council and implied that flying the Prisoner of War flag during June is nothing but a “political stunt.” And given how this comment should be totally condemned, the mayor said what needed to be said.

According to the New York Post:

Newcastle Mayor Robert Clark was berated by activists at a public hearing Tuesday night as citizens of the city — about 12 miles from Seattle — were upset over the council’s decision last year to stop the Pride flag from being flown at City Hall during Pride Month.

Toward the end of the three-hour session, an activist stood in front of the council and called Clark “disgusting” and claimed he and some of the elected city officials were trying to “trick” people out of believing the Pride flag can’t be flown by flying the POW/MIA flag.

These activists make things up for the sole reason of attempting to remain a victim. However, given that these people were “supposedly born this way,” and given that the POW flag is intended to represent people who sacrificed their lives for this country, one should conclude that the former praises people for insignificant and alleged birth traits, while the latter honors courage and bravery that these activists could never portray.

So while the left thinks “affirming” one's indescribable feelings is somehow brave, despite lacking any accomplishment, this could not be further from the truth.

The mayor said what needed to be said because it's disgusting that they cannot comprehend how the reason they can stand up and speak their mind, despite being morally, factually, and logically incorrect, is due to the people the POW flag represents. In their eyes, this is nothing more than a political stunt. And also according to the left, glorifying the pride flag is the morally superior thing to do, and anyone who does not make that their end goal is evil.

“There are 82,000 Americans registered as POWs and MIAs, but there’s 20 million minimum LGBTQ members,” the activist said. “I’ve talked before about the hypocrisy, and I think that your approach to trying to trick people out of having to fly the Pride flag in June by making sure the POW-MIA flag was flown is really disgusting.”

There is no obligation for the local government to fly a flag solely because some groups feel some type of way and it’s deranged that she believes this number game justifies that. Just because it’s culturally trendy to identify with insignificant traits does not mean those people deserve to be honored more than the ones by the POW flag.

She defends nothing yet believes it’s the council who should be “ashamed.” You truly cannot make that level of delusion up.

“It’s not common that I respond to public comment, but I will not sit here and have somebody tell me that veterans are a political stunt. How dare you,” the mayor declared. “This country was founded because veterans lost their lives, hundreds of thousands of people died for this country so you could fly your Pride flag. Man, I am pissed.”

Although that is 100% correct, this is something these people can never comprehend, as they are blinded by a deranged ideology that stands for nothing, while she bashes those who have done more for her than she could ever care to know.

There is only one person who should be ashamed of their comments and it’s not the mayor.
