Gavin Newsom does not have the influence he once thought he had. One social media post from Trump is enough for him to launch an entire website to defend his abysmal fire response.

Gavin Newsom launched a new website to gaslight the public about "misinformation" regarding the Los Angeles wildfires. One of his claims is that California did not defund its fire department, which is a lie.

According to The Post Millennial:

This initiative comes as Newsom faces sharp criticism over his handling of the ongoing fires, which Newsom has pushed back against. Newsom’s office accused the California Assembly Republicans of promoting "flat out false and misleading information" after they claimed the governor had "cut funding for fire prevention by 80%" since 2021. The governor’s office also claimed that the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection's budget has almost doubled since Newsom took office in 2019.

A report by Newsweek on Friday added to the controversy, revealing that the 2024–25 state budget signed by Newsom included a $101 million reduction in wildfire and forest resilience funding, despite an overall increase to CAL FIRE’s budget. Newsom dismissed these reports as a “ridiculous lie.”

Rather than doing everything he can to at least pretend to care, he’s putting way too much effort into PR damage control.

This is not what real leaders do, as they live in denial about how little influence they now have.

When will these people realize they are the problem, and exactly why did the left lose the election? He does not care about doing what's best for his state so long as he remains politically correct.

No one believes his nonsense anymore, as his legacy will forever be homelessness, wildfires, and the worst theft epidemic in California history. And the fact that he wants us to believe Trump is the problem is pathetic, yet unsurprising.
