We mock hashtag activists a lot but Jim Brown is legit (see NFL Legend Jim Brown DESTROYS #BlackLivesMatter). We may not agree with the NFL legend all the time, but he's a serious dude who has been doing serious work his whole life. CNN's Brooke Baldwin, on the other hand, has the intellectual capacity of an earthworm. Which does a slight disservice to the dirt-nomming invertebrate, who at least serves some utility. Can't say the same for Brooke (see CNN Brooke Baldwin Tries Insulting Trump. Makes a TOTAL FOOL of Herself Instead).

So when she tried to use Brown's visit to Trump Tower to play the race card against Donald Trump, it would've been better to have taken a cue from the worms: eat dirt, Brooke.

This is exhibit Q of why the press has a) lost the collective faith of all living creatures occupying planet earth, and b) is the obvious butt of those amusing phrases we call "jokes." Jim Brown, a legit civil rights icon, met with the President-elect on how best to help the African-American community. Excuse me, on how to actually help the African-American community. According to fecal-munches Black Lives Matter, I thought helping the black community was important. Wait... right?

CNN in turn goes, "Yeah, bump that because OMG LOOK AT ALL THESE WHITE FACES!!!!"

At which point Jim Brown politely destroys the entire premise by pointing out how the three most influential people in his life...were white. Skin color only seems to matter to white liberals. You noticed that too, huh? Because I rather thought the fight against racism was ending the obsession with race. Perhaps after writing this post, I'll write a letter to some liberals. I'll be sure to include Hooked on Phonics. Words are hard.

Also, by day's end, who wants to bet some tolerant crapweasels will throw Jim Brown under the bus? Because he's not "black enough" or some such racist malarkey, for meeting with Trump. Any takers?

Perhaps the traditionally Democrat-voting black community can lock arms with conservatives over a common cause: brow-beating elitist media burp-wads over their clear racism. Ideas. Just ideas.
