Children will no longer be prescribed puberty blockers by UK doctors, according to the National Health Service (NHS). Among those saying, "Yeah, that makes sense," is -- you guessed it -- the H.T.I.C. herself (Head "Transphobe" In Charge), JK Rowling.

Puberty blockers are drugs that "block puberty," such as breast development and facial hair. If you are someone who thinks you can choose your own gender, or an AWFL white mother who thinks her kids can, the drugs give you a chance to decide for yourself if you want to be a boy or a girl. Though with the sudden increase of people claiming they aren't the gender they were born, more research was deemed necessary.

The review followed a sharp rise in referrals to the Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS) ... In 2021/22, there were more than 5,000 referrals to GIDS, compared to just under 250 a decade earlier.

Dr Hilary Cass, who led the review, said there was a lack of long-term evidence on what happens to young people prescribed blockers - adding that GIDS had not gathered routine and consistent data, meaning it was "not possible to accurately track the outcomes and pathways that children and young people take through the service".

Basically, the science is NOT settled.

Author JK Rowling is not without thoughts on this landmark common-sense decision. Rowling has become outspoken on trans issues after the controversial way she defended a woman's right not to get fired for her opinion that boys are boys and girls are girls in 2019.

Rowling had a list of people to blame for why things had even gotten to this point that a government health agency had to rule that, no, stopping puberty might not be as harmless as activists claim it is.'

It will be curious to see what America does now. On one hand, puberty blockers do not help most minors’ mental health and one-third of children saw their mental health deteriorate on puberty blockers. They also have irreversible effects. Plus, other countries such as France and Sweeden have also banned them.
