Nick Cannon has had a lot to say on the topic of abortion lately. If you're like me, you likely have no idea who Nick Cannon is. You might even find his fashion choices highly suspect. Alas, it matters not. Turns out he plays a big role in pop culture as an actor, rapper, and producer. He's rather influential among young folks. Which is why his remarks about Planned Parenthood abortion clinics are so relevant...

A couple things need to be said here. Firstly, Nick isn't right about everything. Clearly. The "lesbian mom with hair towel" outfit gives as much away. You may notice he originally dodges the question of "pro-life vs pro-choice" by reciting a tired, old feminist mantra: men don't get to tell women what to do with their bodies. Plaid jackets aside, Nick still has a few convincing thoughts in the ole noggin...

Margaret Sanger said that she wanted to exterminate the negro race, and that she was going to use her organization to do so. It was all about cleansing. They actually wanted to get rid of a class - a group - of people [who] they like to label "feeble minded" or "lower class" using terms in public. In private, they were talking about the black communities.

It's a bit refreshing to see a celebrity continue to bash the Planned Parenthood crap wagon so consistently. This is at least the third time he's spoken out against them in just a month. It takes brass man berries. We mostly see the opposite crawl out from the puffed up bowels of Hollywood (read Monster of the Year: Lena Dunham Wishes She Had an Abortion).

Look, Planned Parenthood being baby-hating organ vampires? Not a new thing. But as we near Inauguration Day, many leftists are vehemently clinging to abortion out of spite for the new presidency (see Obama Pushes Last-Minute Rule FORCING States to Fund Planned Parenthood). Especially those active in the media. Hence why we bother highlighting these types of comments. Kudos to Nick Cannon for offering a contrast to the constant chatter of pro-abortion dumpwads.

No, we realize he's not right on everything. We saw the part where he praises Obama too. It's a mixed bag, we get it. But credit where due. On Planned Parenthood, Nick here knows his stuff. We'll take the small victories where we can.
