Considering current events, it's a sight rarer than Chris Christie on a treadmill. In a recent interview, Nicole Kidman ventured that it's time to put the pitchforks down and accept our next President...

Nicole Kidman... who has dual American citizenship... says it's time for Americans to both accept and support Donald Trump as the country's next president, saying, "Whatever, however that happened, he's there and let's go."

"I would just say he's now elected," Kidman said in an interview this week with BBC News when asked her opinion on the president-elect, "and we as a country need to support whoever the president is, because that's what the country's based on.

Nicole Kidman tends to lean left on the issues, such as gay marriage. Still, credit where due. Even as somebody who disagrees with Trump on many things, she's still managed a way to accept him as president and not demand subservience from everyone else. Or light things on fire. I believe they call this "being a sane person." It's far more effective, clearly...

Here's the thing - an actress saying we should let our president... be president? Not national news. I know, it's hardly deserving of an entire article, in a normal world. But this is 2017. Behold, the absolute dribbling retardation that the left has created. Rioting and looting when things don't go their way is the new norm (see Trump Wins Electoral College Vote. Hillary Supporters Lose It!). Hence when a celebrity leftist can talk about Trump with an air of levelheadedness, it's a bit of a shock. But a welcome change.
