A country which protects itself is engaging in self-preservation. Yes, I agree, that's the Captain Obvious statement of the day. Sadly it needs to be said to leftist drones who feel a nation which defends itself as well as Israel does, is "mean" and therefore to the left, "morally wrong." Here to scold such fools who occupy global positions of power, UN Ambassador Nikki Haley:

"Who among us would accept this type of activity on your border?"

No one. But Israel being smaller and more powerful than its surrounding neighbors, means Israel is the big bad oppressor, and the larger, more hateful countries which lack the economic or military oomph, are the victims. It's the leftist case of David and Goliath. Where David is smaller but smarter, and better armed. And Goliath are the surrounding Islamic nations.

"No country would act with more restraint than Israel has."

Because no country is hated like Israel is. So the country must act "restrained" in how it responds to these attacks lest the global scum of the UN condemn it.

Also, the more powerful nation usually shows restraint to a pesky little irritant until stronger shows of power are necessary. Like when your kid brother kicks you. Instead of shoving him into next Thursday you just flick him on the forehead. After which he proceeds to cry bloody murder to your parents. That's Palestine for you.

Precisely. Israel's haters just hate that Israel exists. Now there's an embassy in Jerusalem means there's yet another excuse for these rocket-happy gremlins to Allahu akbar themselves in their attack against Israel. It will never stop.

Ergo America will continue its support of Israel.
