There is this saying that goes a little something like this: “Guns don’t kill people; people with guns kill people.” Logically, the same could be said for ninja swords. However, leftist politicians don’t tend to make policy under the guise of being logically correct. This is why citizens don’t have gun protections and why UK citizens will no longer be allowed to own ninja swords.

Why stop there? It’s not like people can’t go on a stabbing spree with a kitchen knife. Or how about envelope openers? The list is endless, but the government believes this is a knife problem instead of a ninja problem.

According to Sky News:

A law banning ninja swords is set to come into force by summer after a "relentless" campaign by the family of a murdered teenager.

Ronan Kanda, 16, was stabbed to death with a ninja sword yards away from his home in Wolverhampton in 2022 in a case of mistaken identity.

It's incredibly heartbreaking what happened to this kid, but the problem is not the sword. Banning more things won't cut down on much of anything as this has to do with culture and not the weapon itself.

Why not just ban everything at this point?

Do you think it’s just a coincidence that after the UK banned guns, they suffered a stabbing apocalypse? Because I don’t.

Here me out: How about instead of banning ninja swords, we ban the ninjas? Maybe that would be more effective than whatever virtue-signaling ban this is. Most people reading this know the knives are not the problem here, and the sooner the UK government admits that, the better off everyone will be.
