Trevor Noah makes shocking declaration that maybe segregation was a good thing after all
So while it was the Dems who fought to keep segregation as the status quo, most of that racism is still perpetuated by that same side. This is why Trevor Noah and a Princeton professor discussed why segregation may or may not have been the right thing to do.
Noah asked Professor Ruha Benjamin if she thought "integration was the right solution." However, his justification for why it may not have been was to slander everyone else, while having the nerve to label them as “supremacists” in the same breath.

Noah then proceeds to use Finland as an example to justify why diversity is not a bad thing. However, it’s unclear how he found the nerve to say any of that, as this is the same side that believes in DEI and upholding people solely because of skin color. Additionally, we can almost be certain that none of them believe any human is illegal, which means they are part of the side that believes in open borders. So not only are their views reprehensible, but they cannot even keep their lack of logic straight.
What was she even talking about when she claims people were integrated into a “supremacist culture” that feeds off of “hierarchy, insecurity and anxiety?” Because she provides no evidence to support such foolish claims, yet also misses the mark on what her justification was intended for.
We can almost be certain that the professor “votes blue no matter who” yet, will never admit which side was responsible for segregation in the first place. However, considering she has the most racist and abhorrent worldview, it actually makes sense for her to be a Democrat, since those are the most racist members of society.
And the worst part was likely claiming that Black people were a monolith, as he implied people of the same skin color in the same room know what "certain actions, words, and vibes mean." He is part of the same side who will fight to enact DEI in all forms of life, yet, he argues against the very premise of it. You cannot make that type of absurdity up.
It’s unclear what they believe the “right solution” would be but we are likely safe to conclude it’s anything but morally permissible. But hey, at least they are not hiding their true colors, right?
