LGBT and public schools seem to go hand in gender-neutral hand. At least in the past year or so, it's become a subject that just won't die (see Third Graders Forced to Read Book About 'Boy in Dress'). Considering leftism has held a monopoly on the education system for what seems like an eternity, it's not surprising. But we try to keep you up to date on the latest and gayest anyway. Speaking of gay, North Carolina public schools issued a new decree to teachers, that they refer to their students by gender neutral pronouns. You know, so as not to offend them with scientifically accurate terms.

Teachers in North Carolina have been warned against gender-specific pronouns when referring to students as it may offend transgender children. Instead of 'boys and girls', teachers are asked to refer to the youngsters as 'students and scholars'.

Also, the document said all students must be made to feel comfortable in school, with them being able to dress in accordance with the gender they feel rather than the one noted on their birth certificate.

Reminder, "transgender" people? Their population numbers are widely overrepresented. But let's just say the entire LGBT community at large hovers under 4 percent. So all of these new decrees about sensitivity? At best they're for people in single digit percentages.

But hey, don't kill the transgender dreams of children by talking about reality, you science-based bigots. While we're on the subject, do you think these schools skip over the whole anatomy of the human body chapter in science? Since biology is triggering and all...

Basics

Here's what kicks me in the genitalia of my choosing: leftists are gleefully pushing this agenda on children. Using a cartoon of a gender unicorn. Why? Glad you asked. Despite what the left says about "valuing children" (as they push for abortion rights) what the left is really attempting is to squash innocence. Let's assume for a second you're a Millennial. Think back to your elementary school days, say kindergarten to second grade. Think hard. Did you ever talk about being boys and girls? Or were you just boys or just girls? You used separate bathrooms, sure, but penises and vaginas never came up. Boys would go play with boys at recess, girls with girls. No one assigned you a group, you just went with your group.

That's because five, six and seven year olds don't care about penises and vaginas. They're busy playing games, they're busy believing in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy.

But leftists want to destroy all that. They'd rather ruin innocence, using a purple unicorn to push an agenda about delusion revolving around the sex organs.

This is what soft-skulled mushbrains call "tolerance" (read PROGRESS: California Public Schools Forced to Teach 2nd Graders About LGBT). By default, if you oppose these school changes, you're intolerant... According to the world of social justice warriorism, that is.

Say, aren't leftists supposed to be big on consent? What about the consent of the parents? They didn't agree to these curriculum changes. Unrelated, who do you think funds public schools? Or heck, what about the consent of the children? I suppose, like most liberal tropes, these conditions only apply when convenient. The lesson here? Home school. Because math and science are useful tools. Gender identity? Not so much.
