So when I heard they serenaded now former President Obama (feels good to say that) with "To Sir With Love," I just assumed it was a schtick. Kind of like when "Hillary" opened by singing a Leonard Cohen song.

Sidney Poitier played a teacher. Barack Obama is a politician. Idol worship of any politician is creepy and wrong (and yes, that includes idol worship of President Trump). And it's also tone deaf towards half of SNL's audience. You know, the half of America who is concerned about their medical bills thanks to ObamaCare and has been called a racist for the past eight years because of it. Classy.

Not everyone pledged their allegiance to the former President (I have tingles) like our betters in Hollywood. Because normal people don't pledge allegiance to any man. Ew.

America is about giving the power of government to the people. Not appointing a king. Who you worship both before and after he leaves office. I understand honoring the office of the President. Fine. But I do not approve of worshipping a man. Especially a man who is no longer president.

You celebrities are a bunch of sycophantic butt-lickers. You're embarrassing yourselves.
