It's hardly news when stupidity oozes from the mouth of Bill De Blasio. At this point, it's to be expected (see 'My Body, Your Tax Dollar?' NY De Blasio Signs Law Mandating 'Free' Tampons). His latest attempt at having a discussion with a fellow human being was just too wrong to pass up.

Remember when we covered sanctuary cities refusing to deport criminals? Feel free to count New York City among that list...

What about theft? Not violent. Just a regular, low-level crime...

There are low level crimes, for example, small amounts of marijuana possession, going through a stop light - those are areas where we will not work to see someone deported. Why? Because these are members of a family in our community, say it's the breadwinner in that family. Do you deport the breadwinner? [Then] the rest of the family, including the children, are left without anyone. You tear a family apart. That's not good government. That's not, in my view, moral.

In short? Enforcing the law is immoral. This is coming from the mouth of a smarmy meat puppet who holds office, mind you.

By the way, an important distinction here: all illegal immigrants are guilty of a crime. When you enter a country illegally, you break the law. Congratulations, you're now a criminal.

It's simple stuff, really. And still, leftists like De Blasio can't wrap their giant blockheads around it.

Look, nobody is saying we should hate all illegal immigrants and find joy in ripping apart families. To hear Bill tell it, those who like national security hate migrants. Not so (read Dear Liberals: No, There's Nothing Racist About Securing Our Borders...).

Pay attention to what's being said here. Bill De Blasio "cares" about illegal immigrants so much, he's willing to subvert the safety and security of American families. We've seen other countries try open borders. The result? Not great. Rather crime-ish and terrorist-y actually. Hence why one can't equate border security with racism or "immorality." It's like comparing apples to suicide vests.

Behold, the logic of the left...
