It was a chaotic scene in Brooklyn on Tuesday morning. In the middle of the morning commute, a man opened fire and started shooting commuters. As of this writing, fifteen people are believed to have been shot, but there are thankfully no reported casualties. A subway commuter noticed the commotion as his train was pulling into the station and captured this footage as his train was pulling into 36th St.

Crime has been on the rise in New York City due to questionable policy changes. However, Sunset Park isn't a high crime area. It's still a popular train line, particularly in the morning as people are getting to work.

Police described the suspected shooter as a man about 5 feet 5 inches tall and 180 pounds. He is still at large.

We're going to refrain from covering too much about this story right now. As with most sudden tragedies, a lot of the early information turns out not to be true. It takes a while before we start to find out what actually happened. For example, there were reports police found undetonated explosive devices on the scene.
