Watch: NYC launches "trash revolution" to clean up city with this one trick... using garbage cans

If officials in New York City didn’t even know what a trash can was until like five minutes ago, how on earth are they going to import the third world? Because even developing countries know what these “bins for trash pick up” are and it’s unclear what they mean by “trash revolution.”
Mayor Adams introduced a radical new technology called a trash bin that buildings will be required to use. It’s the next phase of NYC’s Trash Revolution

It’s definitely not a revolution that trash pick up is a thing, but New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced they are making “history” by rolling out “The first-ever, official NYC bin.”
Today, we are tossing even more black bags into the dustbin of history and taking the next step forward in our ‘Trash Revolution. The first-ever, official NYC Bin is high-quality, affordable, and will build on our efforts containerizing more than 70 percent of the city’s trash to protect our most valuable and limited resource — our public space.
Considering that Democrats are so out of touch with the average person, it’s not surprising that this is the first time Adams has taken out the trash. But this is coming from people who think they are so smart they can dictate everything about our lives, so much so that they demand our very existence is taxed.
However, the fact that these people didn't even know that trash cans were a thing is incredibly impressive, yet deeply concerning.
They are so ghetto they have been throwing their trash out on the street.

And they wonder why they have a rat problem.
I never thought I would say this, but PETA was right. The rats are not the problem.
“The NYC Bin adds another instrumental tool in New York City’s rat mitigation toolkit,” said Director of Citywide Rodent Mitigation Kathleen Corradi. “With this next step in the Department of Sanitation’s ‘Trash Revolution,’ New York City continues its efforts to systematically deny rats a curbside buffet and get black bags off our streets.”
Wow. Just wow. It took them this long to figure out that throwing trash on the street contributed to the rodent infestation. I don't even have words. Unclear how much the director of rodent mitigation gets paid but the fact that they have someone on salary to confirm that rats like trash is the most Democrat thing ever.
Just look at this screenshot from the press release:
They truly believed they invited the trash can. Incredible.
You know, in Los Angeles we have three trash cans. One for waste, one for recycling, and one for compost. There is actually a correct way to throw away trash and you can get fined for doing it incorrectly. I used to think this was strict but I will admit I would rather have that than the ghetto system of throwing trash out on the street like it's the 1500s.
And for the record, the trash cans that they are phasing in are very small. But they have to "catch up to what other municipalities around the globe are currently doing" so I guess this is the best they can do.
All I have left to say is LOL.
