Welcome to New York City. A place where crime is encouraged, unhoused homeless people are revered, and where you can assault two cops and be back out on the streets by the end of the day. Of course, it helps if the people doing the assault are all undocumented illegals.

It was a Saturday night, and a group of migrants were up to no good. Well, double up to no good. Being in the country illegally makes them up to no good as a baseline. Then you add causing a ruckus at Times Square on top of that. The undocumented illegals -- no doubt who have been displaced from their home country due to schlimate change -- didn't agree with being told to move along. So they attacked the cops.

Four men were arrested and *checks notes* yep, they were released without bail. Per the NY Post:

Shocking video captured the moment a migrant mob pounded a pair of cops near Times Square over the weekend — but the busted cowardly suspects were still released back on the street without bail, sources say.

Police initially busted four of the asylum-seeking thugs, identified by sources as Darwin Andres Gomez Izquiel, 19, Kelvin Servat Arocha, 19, Juarez Wilson, 21, and Yorman Reveron, 24.

All four were charged with assault and released without bail, sources said.

There has been an increase of illegal migrants to NYC in recent months. There has been an increase of illegal migrants to America ever since Joe Biden started a border crisis on his first day at work. New York City has been bragging about being a sanctuary city where no human being is illegal, so Texas Gov. Greg Abbott led a humanitarian effort to help the illegal migrants migrate to the Big Apple.

Suddenly, the progressive elitists who make NYC what it is no longer want to be a sanctuary city. Turns out, "no human being is illegal" clashed with "not in my backyard." Who woulda thunk?

The two officers were treated for their injuries on the scene. If I were to guess, they are about to join the ginormous list of now-former NYPD officers who put in for early retirement.
