Leftists are allergic to alternative views in the same way Michael Moore is allergic to exercise. When they're confronted with an opinion they don't like, they turn into blubbering babies. But considerably less cute. Need proof? Take a look at this story from NYU:

An NYU professor crusading against political correctness and student coddling was booted from the classroom last week after his colleagues complained about his “incivility.” Liberal studies prof Michael Rectenwald, 57, said he was forced Wednesday to go on paid leave for the rest of the semester.

“They are actually pushing me out the door for having a different perspective,” the academic [said].

Rectenwald launched an undercover Twitter account to argue against campus trends like “safe spaces,” “trigger warnings” and other aspects of academia’s growing PC culture. “My contention is that the trigger warning, safe spaces and bias hot-line reporting is not politically correct. It is insane,” he [said].

Rectenwald says he began getting “dirty looks” in his department and on Wednesday figured out why: A 12-person committee calling itself the Liberal Studies Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Working Group, including two deans, published a letter to the editor in the same paper.

Professor Rectenwald was pushed out for thinking differently... By a committee that calls itself the "Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Working Group?" Excuse me for a moment.

"Diversity..."

If ever you needed a lesson in irony, seek no more. Leftists have redefined words. "Diversity" means everybody. Well... everybody but straight, white cis-males whom they disagree with. "Inclusion" means pushing anyone different out. Because reasons.

I'm noticing a pattern here. Any viewpoint that doesn't echo leftists' own is "hate speech" (read Office Depot Refuses To Print Pro-Life Flier For Catholic Customer. ‘Hate Speech’…). Do you like creamy peanut butter over crunchy? Hate speech. YOU MUST CONFORM! Lest you be cast into a hell of high-pitched Karl Marx quotes and cellulite. Truly a living nightmare.

Speaking of leftist "inclusion," Crowder encountered said inclusivity earlier this year at UMass. That should have been a lovely evening of discussion on free speech. It turned into a left-wing whinefest of epic proportions. At least as big as Trigglypuff's waistline.
