All the left's squawkage about Trump and Russia really hasn't aged well over the past few days. Not long after that, the FBI informant in the Obama/Russian uranium scandal was cleared to testify. Now we're learning he was threatened by... You guessed it, the Big O!

A former FBI informant who blew the whistle on a high-profile bribery case involving a Russian energy company was intimidated by Obama administration lawyers into dropping a civil suit against the government last year, his attorney says.

Victoria Toensing, the lawyer for the informant, told The Daily Caller's Vince Coglianese that Obama Justice Department lawyers told her client that "his reputation and liberty [was] in jeopardy" if he did not drop a lawsuit against the government.

"The Russians have threatened him, and up until just last night the U.S. government has threatened him," Toensing told Coglianese during an interview on WMAL.

"He was told that if he didn't dismiss the case his reputation and liberty were in jeopardy."

If this had happened under Trump, the left would be shouting "impeachment" from the rooftops. When it happened under Obama, nobody knew about it. I guess now we know why.

But let's not forget, this is a huge deal. Firstly, leftists are guilty of conspiring with Russians themselves (read Admit it, Democrats. You're Whores for Russia...). But not only that. Apparently (or "ALLEGEDLY") this man and his career got threatened by the U.S. government courtesy of former President Obama. This should be on the front page of every news source, dominating the news cycle. Instead? Silence.

Suppose it's just not as interesting to the left as phone calls gone crappy. Mainstream media is a disease.
