Obama Visits UN... Gets Quickly Schooled by World Leaders
It's embarrassing.
Nothing says "leader of the free world" quite like a quivering, petulant child. Because America, that's what we've got.
President Obama went to the UN earlier this week, where he gave a weak, ineffective, and highly un-notable speech.
First off, the President opted not to use the term "Islamic" when referencing extremists, and instead pointed out that every religion has their wack jobs... then, cherry on the top, he says "ISIL is targeting Muslim communities around the world."
Come again? Targeting muslim communities? Technically, that's a true statement, but that persecution pales in comparison to what ISIS is doing to Christians in the Middle East. Let me simplify it. The region is predominantly Muslim, the most viciously targeted are Christians. Even The New York Times has asked if ISIS means the complete and total end of Christianity in the region. So can anyone give one good reason why Obama wouldn't mention the Christians targeted by ISIS? (Paging Donald Trump.) Not to mention that the entire purpose of these "extremists" (of whose religion shan't be spoken) is to wipe Israel and America off the face of the earth. That context... kind of a biggie, no? Let's just focus on the fact that a random group of religious fanatics are attacking Muslims.
Your President looks ridiculous, people. Thank God for British Prime Minister David Cameron, who called him out on this lunacy. Take a look:

David Cameron looks like more of a leader than your President, America.
But it gets worse. So did Vladimir Putin. While the BBC's headline reads, "Did Putin Upstage Obama at UN Syria Summit?" that bastion of right wing conservatism, CNN, came right out with it: "Vladimir Putin steals Barack Obama's Thunder on the World Stage." Their article offers a crushing commentary on the President's performance:

The Russian president showed up at the United Nations on Monday for the first time in a decade, proposing a coup against U.S. global leadership and seeking to wrest control of a coalition battling ISIS away from America's grip.
And he wasn't the only leader of a country challenging the United States to effectively upstage Obama at the annual global meeting, which a U.S. president traditionally uses to command the spotlight.
Speeches by Chinese President Xi Jinping and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on the 70th anniversary of the creation of the world body also left Obama defending not only his personal foreign policy legacy, which is already under assault at home from Republican presidential candidates, but the entire concept of a world order based on seven decades of U.S. global leadership.
Did you catch that? CNN - this isn't Fox News, people - CNN is saying not only Russia, but China and Iran are trampling all over President Obama while causing global questioning of "a world order based on seven decades of U.S. global leadership."
Does that make you proud to be an American?
That's what I thought.
