Have a seat. We wouldn't want you to faint from shock and bump your head. You can't afford it. Remember when we said ObamaCare premiums were going to go up for 2017? They were predicted to go up by 24% on average (see Surprise! New Report Says 2017 ObamaCare Rates to Massively Increase). Turns out that was a bit of an underestimate. Now rates are shooting up faster than Yoko Ono at a birthday soiree. Apparently they'll be even higher than previously anticipated...

Major insurers participating in Obamacare have won approval for substantial premium hikes next year in a dozen or more states. The increases range as high as 30 percent to 50 percent, according to new data.

State insurance regulators appear more than willing to go along with these rate increases to prop up insurers remaining in the program.

Leading carriers... have been granted average premium increases of 30 percent in Alabama, Delaware, Hawaii, Kansas, Mississippi and Texas... Rate hikes will top 50 percent in other states, including Arizona, Illinois, Montana, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee. A handful of other states including Connecticut, Georgia, Kentucky and Maine are supporting premium hikes of 20 percent or more.

Affordable?

Some states can expect to see their premiums even double. Sound familiar? So much for "affordable" (see Ouch. Even Minnesota Dem Governor Says ObamaCare 'No Longer Affordable...'). Say, massive rate hikes each year doesn't exactly scream affordability. Or practicality. But hey, what do I know? I'm just one of the guys who pays the subsidies for the other guys.

This is why people loathe ObamaCare with the white-hot intensity of a thousand burning suns. We've also even seen leftists coming out to trash talk the Affordable Care Act (see Bill Clinton Doubles Down, Reminds Voters How Much ObamaCare Sucks...). You know it's gotten bad when even fellow Democrats lose faith in Obama's project. Then again, we've always known it was going to be bad.

Here's the kicker, and it's not a conspiracy theory. Leftists always knew the Affordable Care Act would lead to failure. It was designed to crash and burn like Madonna's sick jokes. Why? So the government could swoop in and say "Oh man! You know what would make this system easier? SINGLE PAYER! Even though we FUBARed this health care thing, let us take it over entirely!"

And the borderline functionally retarded masses, who thought the Affordable Care Act was a good idea, will all celebrate. They'll get down on their knees and worship at the alter of their savior the government.
