There's been a lot of inflation going on when it comes to Obama's job "creation" (see Surprise! New Report Shows HUGE Majority of Jobs Obama 'Created'? Temporary Gigs...). According to the BLS, the unemployment rate under Obama is 4.7%. It's a number we've seen plastered all over the media. But it turns out there's quite a few other numbers they aren't including...

BLS said the December unemployment rate increased a tenth of a point to 4.7 percent, well below the Obama-era high of 10 percent. But people who stop looking for a job are no longer counted as unemployed.

The final jobs report of the Obama presidency shows that the number of Americans not in the labor force has increased by 14,573,000 (18.09 percent) since January 2009, when Obama took office...

In December, according to the Labor Department's Bureau of Labor Statistics, a record 95,102,000 Americans were not in the labor force. The participation rate dropped to a 38-year-low of 62.4 percent on Obama's watch, in September 2015. It was only 3-tenths of a point higher than that last month.

So that figure of 4.7%? It doesn't include the people who gave up looking for a job. And apparently there's a metric truckload of those people. The number of people not participating in the labor force is the highest it's been in almost 40 years. Sounds pretty significant... Yet it's a tiny little detail oft overlooked by Obama's rump-kissing media when referring to the economy.

Obama has managed to stomp all over the economy by way of "helpful" programs like Obamacare. As a result, the entire population was shat on. Millennials in particular. Many a young person opts to go to college and ends up trapped in a purgatory of perpetual student-dom for lack of jobs, thus creating more debt. All this, of course, is just another thing for which we have to thank the left.

Context. It's important.

And people wonder why America refused to elect another Democrat...
