Ocasio-Cortez Thinks Green Energy Will Bring Racial & Social Justice
We've decoded the mysteries of intersectionality. Progressives say a bunch of words that have nothing to do with each other. But the words sound nice and make leftists feel like they're important. Intersectionality is like the gold card membership at Starbucks. Just having it makes you feel special inside. Every time you make a purchase, you work toward a new reward. In this case, claiming you're fighting for racial and social justice while peddling green energy (see Crowder Throws Down: YES, We Should Destroy the ‘Clean Energy Plan’! and Dear Leonardo DiCaprio: You Self-Righteous, Hypocritical, Energy-Guzzling Jackass). Here to headline this new initiative, BuzzFeed Barbie Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

We can use the transition to 100 percent energy as the vehicle to truly deliver and establish economic, social and racial justice in the United States of America. This is going to be the Great Society, the moonshot, the civil rights movement of our generation. This is the mechanism through which we can really deliver justice to communities that have been underserved.
Reality time. Let's skip the part where Barack Obama tried something similar. Or at least claimed what he was trying to do with pushing green energy: save the masses. Prevent sea levels from rising. Stop terror the earth might exact against our cruel, human ways. When really he was just funneling taxpayer monies to his besties at Solyndra. Obviously Cortez has her heart in the actual right place, so this time it'll be better. Different. Successful.
In reality, the underserved communities will see their energy prices soar, or see a massive increase in their gas tax. Like you may have noticed happened in France, what with the riots. Actually, you may NOT have noticed since it wasn't covered as heavily as you would think. Funny how that happens to a lot to stories that challenge the left's narrative. Energy prices went up in France, the people rioted, BuzzFeed blamed Facebook.
So no, pushing green energy will not solve anything other than lining the pockets of those CEOs who promise green energy is the way, the truth and the life of a civilized people.
Like all leftists, Cortez isn't concerned about results. She just wants everyone to know how much she cares. It's the intentions, not the outcome, which matters most to leftists. Last I checked, a very famous road was paved with nothing but good intentions.
