Generally when we have stories about college students with a list of demands (see Wimpy College Leftists Want This Professor Fired for the Lamest Reason… and Oberlin College Students Protest: ‘The Cafeteria food is racist!’), it involved some level of appeasement. Not at Ohio State.

In this case the student demands were, to be fair, kind of mild compared to some of the ridiculous demands we've seen (though, still completely ridiculous). The administration? Not having it...

“Dr. Drake will never receive a list of demands and he will not negotiate with you,” Kasey calmly informed the group before moving on to the next part of his conversation, which included the university’s own list of demands.

“If you refuse to leave, then you will be charged with a student code of conduct violation,” Kasey said. “If you are here at 5:00 a.m. we will clear the building and you will be arrested.” He added, “We will give you the opportunity to go to jail for your beliefs.”

“What do you mean by ‘clear the building?’” one of the stunned students asked.

Kasey didn’t mince words: “Our police officers will physically pick you up and take you to a paddy wagon,” he answered. “The people who work in this building should be protected also.”

And by 12:30 AM, the building was cleared. Apparently if you stand up to these brats, they cave. Go figure.

College campuses across the USA, take note. Ohio State is leading the way in how to care for "adult" children who don figurative diapers to cry about (fill in the blank). These kids are brats. They're entitled. They've been cow-towed to long enough. When I was going to school, I was too busy studying, writing papers, working my little student butt off. Never once did I think to stage a sit-in. Other than a library where I, like read books and stuff. I didn't have time or energy to feel aggrieved over (fill in the blank). I was at school to study, learn, earn my degree, then GTFO into the real world.

Guess what kids? In the real world, where you have bosses, coworkers, expectations? You can't submit demands for (fill in the blank). You actually have to do sh!t in order to earn money. I poop swastica you not.

Better learn that your safe space should be a desk. You'd better learn your safe space should be a bank account. You'd better learn your safe space should be that house or apartment you live in, provided for by you, your dollar, your work. Learn it fast, before the rest of us have to pay for your pathetic butts.
