Watch: Oliver Anthony blasts blindly believing the media in latest banger, "I Wanna Go Home"

Oliver Anthony dropped his latest single "I Wanna Go Home." He had uploaded a clip of the song to TikTok back in March, but this is the first time he's recorded it in full. While "Rich Men North of Richmond" was more about the overall sense of his environment, this one is more personal.
Whiskey Riff, the only country website you need to worry yourselves with, describes the song as speaking of "family farms being sold, urban spread, and people blindly believing to the media, tying it all together by asking the Lord to take him home."
I don't know which road to go,
I just not I didn't used to wake up feeling this way,
Cussing myself every damn day,
People have really gone and lost their way,
They all do what the TV say,
I wanna go home.

Make sure you're hitting him up on YouTube.
This cut is more personal, but ask yourself how many people you know who feel the exact same way. Starting from, just to pick a random date, March of 2020. We've all been struggling in one form of a -ly or another: economically, psychologically, spiritually, etc. On more days than not, I find myself staring blankly out into the abyss feeling like I don't have a clue what's going on and that the wheels are coming off the planet. Those are the days I make sure to log off and get fresh air.
And I know progressives want to wishcast this way since it's their agenda with the media causing most of it. Anytime too many conservatives like the same thing, it's the Left's and the media's (but I repeat myself) job to delegitimize and destroy it.
My favorite is claiming Anthony is all astroturf because Jason Hoverton sent out a few tweets. You are only an overnight success if a record executive sees you performing in a Park Slope coffee shop and calls all their PR contacts to say nice things about you.
If it makes a leftist feel better to think right-wing astroturf would cause a random ginger dude to be the first person EVER to debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the first to do it without a record label, you keep doing you, Skippy.
The apolitical people in the middle, the ones too busy being outside touching grass rather than being very online, are who's causing all this. With most national elections you have 40% conservative, 40% leftists, and 20% in the middle that move from cycle to cycle.
That 20% has found a spiritual connection with Oliver Anthony in a way no other current artists have. It's soul-refreshing to be watching it in real-time.
