We all know socialism is the biggest crap-nugget to ever come out of Satan's heinie-hole. History is rife with examples of socialism's suckage, yet some people stubbornly refuse to accept it. They insist it will work this time.

A survivor of communism in China wrote an op-ed to warn Che Guevara fanboys against drinking the socialist Kool-Aid.

Here's what she said:

My family left post-Mao Communist China in the mid-1980s precisely because there was so much equality to go around. Everyone in my city was equal in having no running hot water, no modern toilet facilities, no refrigerator, no washer, no dryer, and no color television.

Imagine a world without Whole Foods, Safeway and Walmart, or the plethora of products stocked on their shelves. Now imagine instead being allotted food stamps from the government, indicating how much your family can eat.

The state told us where to live, where to work, what to buy, and for how much.

Don’t for a minute forget the lesson that still applies: When the state runs the economy and its citizens’ lives, there will be plenty of equality in scarcity, poverty and hopelessness.

The writer's right. Socialism only makes everyone equally miserable. People cease to be individuals. They're merely cogs in the left's barely-running machine.

Funnily enough, these lefties are so eager to nix everything that makes America awesome in the first place. They tweet #ResistCapitalism through their iPhones on the free wifi at Starbucks. Unaware all are the products of the free exchange of goods and services.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure the left will heed the warnings in the op-ed. They're so obsessed with scoring their "free" stuff, they're willing to give away every freedom they've got. Pathetic.
