We've reached that time of year again when Disney churns out another Star Wars film. No doubt reigniting the same age-old questions. Did Han shoot first (spoiler alert: he was the only one to shoot)? Why do fanboys go nuts for a klutz in a jetpack who fell down a hole? How the hell did Jar-Jar Binks ever make it past storyboards?

Leftists, on the other hand, have different questions in mind. Namely, why didn't the Jedi Council reprimand and banish Anakin Skywalker for his uber-toxic masculinity? Yes, really:

Members of the Jedi Council should’ve removed Skywalker from the Jedi Order after his many missteps while protecting Sen. Padmé Amidala. If they had, Chancellor Palpatine would have been unable to leverage Skywalker into destroying the Jedi Order, dismantling democracy and creating the first Galactic Empire.

Also removing any need for blockbuster films, but okay.

The Jedi Council's inability to remove a toxic, misogynistic predator from its ranks ultimately brings about its downfall — when Anakin Skywalker joins the dark side and becomes Darth Vader. Maybe if the Jedi were more concerned with gender equality, and less concerned with balancing the force, then they would still be around today.

Look at leftists, bringing their signature fun-loving ways to the party.

Star Wars is obviously a work of fiction, but I'll bite. Maybe they never gave Anakin the shaft because Padme never reported his "harassment." Most likely because the feelings were mutual. As if the courtship, marriage, and twin younglings weren't enough of a giveaway.

Furthermore, defeating the black-cloaked Sith Lord who shoots lightning from his fingertips took precedence over staying up-to-date on the latest in queer feminist theory. You leftists do realize these films are meant to entertain us, right?

Leftists don't give a womp-rat's ass about Star Wars. It's just another vehicle for them to push their social justice agenda.
