Transwoman beats girls in track competition

Let me cover my bases here, as I don't want to be accused of being exclusionary. Not only are transwomen (men who think they're women but who are, and always will be, men) who compete against women sexist assholes, but the people who support transwomen (men) competing against women are also sexist assholes. I will not walk this statement back, not one tiny girl step. Furthermore, transwomen (men) who compete against women are not only not women but the very worst kind of men. Putting transwomen who compete against women on the bottom-most rung of the societal food chain. I am not sorry to state it, but I am sorry other women have to suffer the consequences of such awful men stealing opportunities from women.

Note this column only addresses transwomen who compete against women in women-only activities -- biological women. Actual women. Women who've had the female experience from birth. Not to be confused with a mansplaining douche who's stuffing his Victoria's Secret thong with a flaccid one-eyed snake.

This column is not directed at transwomen or transgenders as a whole. Just those select assholes who couldn't hack it competing as men, so they claimed to be ladies to beat real girls. Women's sports are for women, men's sports are for men. Women's sports are for women to compete against other women, men's sports are for men to compete against other men. There should never have been, nor should there continue to be, any kind of crossover.

I've said this many times, but I'll repeat it here just to get it off my glorious chest for the bros who'll say it: cut the "Men are better at being women than women are, lol!" comment. Not only is that one of the gayest things I've ever heard men say, it's also totally sexist while being biologically impossible. Men cannot "beat" women at being women, as women cannot beat men at being men. So please, for the love of all things biology, the next time a transwoman "beats' a woman in a female-only competition, spare us all the chest-beating, knuckle-dragging guffawing. You're embarrassing yourselves while irritating every woman in your proximity. If you really think transwomen make better women, go sleep with one.

Now that's out of the way, female sports. Let's explain why women have women's sports. The drive and thrill of competition isn't a male-only trait. Women like competing, women like winning, for much the same reasons as men: we like to push ourselves, to see how great we can be, and if we fail, we learn and try again. Competition through sports provides valuable life lessons, sure, but it's also fun. Addicting, even.

Men, because of the testosterone which has coursed through their bodies their entire lives, are naturally stronger and faster than women. Which usually translates to men's sports being faster and therefore more exciting to watch than women's sports. Exceptions to the rule, sure, but on the whole, audiences prefer to watch men compete.

But the entertainment factor isn't the primary reason for sports. The reason for sports is competition through play, through skill, strength, endurance, training or talent. Sometimes all of the above. To allow men to compete with women, who aren't endowed with testosterone levels like men, is the height of sexism.

Those who endorse transwomen competing with women form, in my opinion, the real patriarchy. For people who tell girls to sit down and shut up, men will compete with them whether they like it or not, embody systemic sexism. What's more sexist than denying a girl a shot at greatness because a boy wanted it instead?

Girls will be told their whole lives "Men are better at sports than women." A lot of girls and women will hear some men carry on and on about their athleticism as equating their superior physicality with general superiority. An erroneous notion reinforced when a real patriarchy pushes men into women's competitive safe spaces to dominate them.

So no, transwomen competing against women are not "special." They are not great, talented, or exceptional. They are pathetic, patronizing, controlling, passive-aggressive douchebags who have no place in a women's only space. Transwomen are not women. But they are the worst kind of men.
