A woman who identifies as a turtle is somehow on Oregon's mental health advisory board
It turns out that under the umbrella of identifying with anything and everything, that also includes turtles.
A mental health advisory board member in Oregon identifies as a turtle and would like it if you affirmed that.

This is so pathetic that I almost feel sympathetic to "turtle's" struggles.
A member of a state panel advising the director of Oregon's Health Authority (OHA) on best practices and policies in mental health identifies as a "turtle."
JD Holt, who also goes by "JD Terrapin" on Facebook, is one of roughly two dozen "consumers" on the OHA's Consumer Advisory Council (OCAC). The council, established by administrative statute, is appointed by OHA Director Dr. Sejal Hathi, who was appointed by Gov. Tina Kotek, a Democrat.
The purpose of the OCAC is to advise Hathi on the state's provision of mental health services, including through investigations and reviews of current practices.
If the state wishes to help people with mental health issues the least they can do is have someone on the board who does not identify as a different species. Because it turns out that no matter how much “turtle” feels deep down inside, she will never be anything but a human. And the fact that “turtle” has a problem with that is nothing more than a personal issue that should never be “affirmed.”
"Hello everybody, it's JD. I use they, them and turtle for my pronouns. I'm in the Springfield-Eugene area and I get to be part of the council," Holt said during a Dec. 20 virtual OCAC meeting. Gender Wiki, a website that documents the list of non-binary genders, describes "turtlegender," sometimes called "tortoisegender," as "a xenogender identity in which one feels a gendered connection to turtles."
Although it makes no sense why the left demands all people, or in this case all turtles, be included in all things, despite whether or not they are qualified, is exactly why we have this problem. This is what happens when you glorify mental illness and the fact that they think they are compassionate by affirming this speaks volumes as to how little they actually care about helping people.

If they truly want to advise people with mental health issues to better themselves, the last thing they should be doing is picking people who don't even feel comfortable identifying as their species. But these people are not in it to help anyone, as proven by the fact that they are beholden to the alter of inclusivity, despite being logical, faculty, and morally incorrect.
