Remember #OscarsSoWhite from last year? You know, the gripe-fest from Tinstle Town babies, upset about black people not winning Oscars. Because "racism" and stuff. Well, once again progressives are prepping for a campaign of douche-baggery. Perhaps the nominees gift bags will include books on safe spaces and gold-plated tissue dispensers. Anyway, the outrage this time is a spin on last year's rendition. Yep, Hollywood's remaking #OscarsSoWhite into Episode Two: No Oscars For White Men (or Women).

No seriously. This time the rage is because of the unfathomable sin of white people being in movies.

This year there is a more diverse slate of movies in the running for Academy Awards, including Fences, starring Denzel Washington and Viola Davis, and Barry Jenkins’ African-American coming of age drama Moonlight.

But a growing movement on social media is expressing fury at the ethnic composition of other films in the running for awards. Namely, they’re too white.

La La Land, Damien Chazelle’s musical romance about love in LA starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, is a prime offender in social justice warrior eyes and is being unfavorably compared to Moonlight.

Another Oscar contender Silence, Martin Scorsese’s 17th-century Christian epic starring Liam Neeson and Andrew Garfield, isn’t out until the end of the month but it’s already getting flak for what else…being so white.

So let's review. Not only do black people have to win Oscars every year, now white people aren't allowed to make movies?

First things first. The Academy Awards might as well be called the Pretentious Asshat of the Year Awards. The movies are often pretentious, preachy, condescending and largely self-serving. The smugness levels are higher than the audience at a Dave Matthews concert. But the Oscars are showing us everything wrong with the left. Often in hilarious fashion (read Equality? ‘Gender Fluid’ Actor Eligible for Male AND Female Academy Awards).

This whole debacle has nothing to do with equality for minorities. It's all about trashing white people for their privileges. Plus slavery, which happened a long, long, long time ago in a country no one currently living experienced. Never mind that. Slavery happened. White people owned black people. But don't you dare ask who sold those Africans to those white people back in Aferica. It's "problematic."

Ever wonder what the ugly side of affirmative action looks like? Well, this is it. You might as well throw merit on the trash heap next to Hillary Clinton's emails. It no longer matters how well an actor performs. Have the wrong melanin content? Hit the road, honky.

I may be wrong, but isn't disqualifying someone based on their skin color...racist? But, who are we kidding. These are white people. It doesn't count. That they're white liberals only makes it entertaining. It's yet another remake of The Left Eating the Left: Oscars 2017. I hope Chris Rock has a starring role.
