Our canine friends have seen a lot this pandemic. Dogs were used to having the house to themselves. Then, one day, their humans stopped going to work. They started baking banana bread and watching too much cable news. As people added an extra mask to their face every time Faucie opened his piehole, dogs just wondered when they were going to get their homes back. Funny thing about dogs: Sure, they are happy to see you when you get home. But they enjoy the peace and quiet during the day.

Dogs can also be smarter than some. While people lived in fear, dogs observed. They studied. They spoke to their peers and drew their own conclusions. Finally, this dog had the opportunity to speak on behalf of his colleagues. The dog was asked for his thoughts on the pandemic. The answer was easy.

No, this dog is not a scientist. He's not even an unelected bureaucrat working for the CDC. I would never say you should take science advice from a dog. This isn't about science, or even "the science." It's about masks. What I am saying is that if you have to choose between taking a dog's advice or listening to someone like Joe Biden, the answer should be obvious.
