PETA Tries Pushing Video of Cat Being Abused. Yeah, It's Fake...
PETA is a group of malnourished miserly sacks who seek to rid the world of tasty meat and fashionable leather. They'll do whatever it takes. Even posing topless in public with fake dead lambs to protest the comfy wool that comprises our blankets and coats. One of their latest attempts at ending animal cruelty? Releasing a video showing a cat being abused by its owner. There's only one problem. It's faker than fake...
Video below (which includes PETA's half-assed explanation for the fakery):
PETA has hit a breathtaking new low.The animal-rights group has produced a disturbing new video that depicts a cat suffering at the hands of its owner. It’s difficult to watch. It’s also completely fake. But it looks real; it is a skilled CGI work clearly meant to deceive viewers. Now, PETA is trying to enlist complicit media organizations to knowingly publish the fake video in an effort to make the lie go viral.
Here's a few lines of an email sent by the public relations firm to a Mashable reporter:
"What we'd like to do is have Mashable debut this video of a cat, created with computer-generated imagery (CGI), being abused, which will have been planted on YouTube anonymously by the ad agency who created it for PETA. Your posting of the provocative piece would simply be to acknowledge that it's in circulation – not to make any claims about its authenticity."
After the video sparked outrage on the internet, PETA planned to release another video revealing the abuse clip was fake in an effort to draw attention to the issue of animal abuse in zoos, roadside attractions, circuses, film, and TV.
So, rather than making their appeal by using facts, the protein-deficient dunderheads at PETA chose to provoke an emotional response by showing a CG house cat getting Chris Brown-ed by its owner. But hey, at least their hearts were in the right place...
Such lying liardom is typical though for those of the leftist persuasion. With the truth usually not being on their side, making up falsehoods is the only way for them to advance their agenda. Which is why we often hear tall tales of Planned Parenthood providing mammogram services and an epidemic of hate crimes committed by Trump-loving "nazis." Lying is the left's only option if they wish to stay in the game. All that matters is the narrative. For PETA, that narrative is People Are Always Mean to Animals ALL THE TIME.
Those kale-chomping militants want nothing more than to deprive us carnivores of our tasty animal products. Whether or not their accusations are true is of no importance to them. All that matters to them is that we ditch the tasty, protein-packed beef, in favor of estrogen-laced tofu and diary-free smoothies. Yeah, not gonna happen...
PETA may have openly admitted to their deception, and it may have been for a good cause. Small creatures being abused is never a good thing, even if the receiver of the beating is a hell-spawned feline. But, lying to get your point across is lower than the amount of iron in PETA's meat-free members' bloodstreams. It doesn't matter how good your intentions were, guys. Ditch the fibbing and stick to the truth...
