Seven Cars Stolen From Philadelphia Dealership, It's Only Been Open Less Than A Week
A car dealership open for less than a week in Philadelphia is on the brink of closing for good after thieves made off with half of its inventory. City Motors of Philadelphia lost seven of its eleven cars in just one robbery.
"If we don't recover the cars, we probably won't survive it," said Nathan Kriegler, the co-owner of City Motors of Philadelphia. "It could be the start and the end all in the same week."
According to ABC6, Thieves broke into the dealership, ransacked the front office, found the keys to seven cars, and escaped before Kriegler could respond.

Police are investigating, but since the business was so new, security cameras weren't in place. They were supposed to be installed on Wednesday, the day after the incident.
"We called our insurance company today, and unfortunately, we only have liability insurance for the vehicles. So, if we don't get the cars back, we have no coverage for the vehicles whatsoever," Kriegler said.
So far, police have tracked down three of the vehicles.
"I think if I had the choice all over, I would not come to Philadelphia. I think a lot of people are feeling that way," said Kriegler.
As of June, the Philadelphia Police Department said there have been more than 9,000 vehicle thefts so far this year and half of those have involved Kias and Hyundais.

All jokes aside, there is a reason that in less than 24 hours, Philadelphia often sees criminals taking over the city.
It is also ironic that this was the same night that looters caused chaos and destruction in Philadelphia where over 70 people have so far been arrested.
And yes, police do believe this may be connected. In case that was not obvious.
We should all take a moment to thank Philadelphia’s District Attorney Larry Krasner.
Krasner has said he’ll meet out ‘individual justice’ for the 70 people arrested for looting last week, according to WHYY.
“A very large number of them are young. They’re between the ages of 18 and 25 and in general what we are seeing is most of them have no criminal record or a minimal criminal record, but that isn’t all of them,” he said.
What does being under 25 have to do with any of this?
Even a 12 year old knows not to do these sorts of things.
But to progressives, these are not criminals, these are just kids being kids.
It appears that Krasner implies he wants to seek out ‘justice’ for the criminals, rather than the victims in this situation.
Another example of how dangerous this DA is that Philadelphia Police Corporal and SWAT team member, James O’Connor, a 23-year veteran of the Department, may be alive today if it was not for Krasner's progressive polices, or lack there of.
O’Connor was gunned down while trying to arrest Hassan Elliott, who was wanted for murder.
“Elliott was on the street for one reason: because of District Attorney Krasner’s pro-violent defendant policies. Those policies – which include permissive bail conditions for violent offenders, failing to pursue serious probation and parole violations by violent criminals, offering lenient plea deals for violent offenses, and outright withdrawing cases against violent felons – put dangerous criminals like Elliott on the street," U.S. Attorney William M. McSwain said in a statement.
He added, “Krasner has infected the District Attorney’s Office with a sickness that has deadly consequences for the entire City.”
Philadelphia has a progressive prosecutor who rewards criminals for their behavior, essentially turning them into the victims.
Although this was an awful situation for the man who lost half his inventory less than one week after opening, what did he expect when he opened a business there?
Like every progressive, Krasner is more concerned with addressing "the root cause of violence" as if it is some huge mystery that must be solved before anything else.
Let’s just end the search for every progressive once and for all. The ‘root cause’ of crime is a lack of values.
Okay, now that we have solved that mystery, can these people get back to doing their jobs?
