Philadelphia has a crime problem. However, it’s unclear if the city will soon pretend to care about that, as three people were shot in Center City last night and we have yet to hear about it. But with how things are going, it’s not likely that the city will do anything to crack down on lawlessness.

While the city does nothing that is significant to tackle real issues, they have decided to set the Guinness World Record for the largest drag story time event because that’s how pathetic they are.

According to CBS:

Pride Month was already off to a record-breaking start in Philadelphia as the world's largest Pride flag, measuring 400 feet long, made a citywide tour on Friday and closed out the month of May.

On Saturday, Philadelphia set another record with over 260 people gathered for a drag queen story time event.

You couldn’t pay me to go to that event. And 260 people isn't even a lot, especially because the kids are basically being dragged their against their own will.

The Guinness Book of World Records was on hand to certify the crowd size at the National Constitution Center.

During Memorial Day Weekly the city saw three homicides in less than an hour.

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, "Eight people were shot, two fatally, in three incidents of gun violence over less than two hours Saturday night in Philadelphia, police said."

And because city officials refuse to crack down on criminality, so much so that they basically fuel it, the pride festivities didn’t go as planned.

Nothing says Philadelphia pride more than the parade descending into chaos.

To be fair, that is probably how most people are feeling when it comes to all the rainbow mumbo-jumbo. And even though I will never condone violence, I at least understand the frustration. However, they did look and act like animals and that's not cool.

Earlier in the day, the parade was also disrupted by pro-Palestinian protestors.

There is nothing more progressive than leftists going after their own.

Just to recap, over the weekend the city tried to ignore their failures as they turned a blind eye to the lawlessness they enable. They did this by setting deranged records that are not even impressive. However, because of how incompetent they are, their own festivities ended in turmoil. And well, at least we have that.
