BC Supreme Court Declares Drug Use On PLAYGROUNDS Is Your Constitutionally Protected Right As A Canadian
At one point in history, society used to enact laws that would protect children as they are our most vulnerable population and cannot often speak up for themselves. Somewhere along the path to degeneracy, policymakers started making laws and implementing "rights" out of thin air. And more often than not, those "rights" always seem to harm those we should be protecting the most.
The B.C. Supreme Court has ruled that people have a "Constitutionally Protected Right" to do drugs on a playground. Yes, a playground. Where drug addicts have absolutely no business being anyway.
According to The National Post:
"In a Dec. 29 injunction, B.C. Supreme Court ruled that it would impose 'irreparable harm' if drug users were warned away from public areas.
For an NDP government that was looking to take a public stand against rising rates of drug-related disorder, the 'playground' amendment was arguably among the least controversial things they could have done.
B.C. was already nine months into an unprecedented pilot project to decriminalize personal amounts of illicit drugs. Fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, meth, MDMA; so long as it was only 2.5 grams, by federal exemption it was now legal to possess illicit drugs basically anywhere in British Columbia.
The 'playground' amendment — enacted on Sept. 18 — dialled it back ever so slightly. You could still possess illicit drugs without consequence, but you couldn’t do it within 15 metres of a playground, skate park or 'outdoor spray pool or wading pool.' Schools and 'child care facility premises' had already been written into the original decriminalization order."
But now, that has been ruled unconstitutional.
"In a Dec. 29 injunction, B.C. Supreme Court Chief Justice Christopher Hinkson ruled that it would impose 'irreparable harm' if drug users were warned away from public areas — even if that came at the expense of public parks filled with biohazardous drug paraphernalia and other 'social harms' such as “'unpredictable behaviour.'"
What about the harm posed to kids on the playground, you ask?
Well, it appears that kids don't have a right to be protected from said "harm." The rights of drug addict degenerates are extremely more important than the rights of our most vulnerable population, according to this ruling.
It is hard to comprehend why progressives fight for the destruction of society. But what is so irritating about this is not only do they cause social ruin, they do so all while pretending this makes THEM the compassionate ones. They truly believe that by contributing to societal downfall and condoning efforts that de facto contribute to drug addiction, they are morally superior.
The only reason people would enact such a stupid and arguably evil law is that they loathe children. No one who believes children should be protected would EVER condone such a ruling.
This is what you get when you have the inmates running the asylum. And unfortunately, things will probably get worse before they get better.
