The kids are not okay.

A six-year-old shot his teacher in 2023, and the bodycam footage has just been released, and it is baffling, to say the least.

Wow. Wow. Wow.

The fact that a young child can speak like that, especially considering the crime that was committed, is astonishing.

Per the New York Post:

The 6-year-old Virginia boy who shot his teacher in the chest in class yelled “f–k you, bitch” at an educator who was trying to restrain him and threatened to fight cops, disturbing bodycam video immediately after the attack shows.

The first-grader, identified in court only as J.T., is seen threatening officers and swearing a blue streak after police were scrambled to the classroom at Richneck Elementary School in Newport News, Virginia.

“Both y’all want a f–king piece of me, b—h?!” the boy tells the officers, body camera footage from Officer Brian Torrez, obtained by the Virginian-Pilot and the Daily Press, shows.

Some six-year-olds cannot even write their own names. The fact that this boy’s milestone that year was shooting his first-grade teacher is a level of insanity that has no place in a civil society. How did he even learn to do this? Even three-year-olds know this is wrong.

The video was taken after J.T. shot his teacher, Abby Zwerner, in front of 16 students in their first grade class on Jan. 6, 2023.

To claim that it is impossible to reform this level of depravity may very well be putting it lightly. While you are free to draw your own conclusions, it is my professional opinion that the systems, both criminal and educational, ought to start taking youth crimes this severe seriously before someone else gets hurt. What is going on? Can anyone make it make sense?
