Police Officer's Touching Interaction with Homeless Man Goes Viral
Un-oh, get ready liberals. A white police officer saw a black homeless man outside of a Chipotle. You know what happened next...
He bought the man a burrito, talked with him and was overall very kind. Wait, what were you expecting?
A quote posted on social media, Facebook…Rachel Mitchell – "So today I saw something that made my day. This Chicago Police officer was sitting at a window seat at Chipotle, outside the window he saw a homeless man digging through the trash. The cop knocked on the window, getting the homeless man’s attention. Through the glass he asked the man if he was hungry. The man nodded yes, and the cop motioned for him to come inside. The cop told him to set what belongings he had next to him and told him to order what he wanted because he would pay for it. They stood in line together and at the end the cop paid for the man’s meal. A simple hand shake was exchanged between them and they parted ways like it was no big deal. Touched my heart so much, with all the (crap) police are getting these days it reminds me there’s so much more good out there than anyone ever wants to give credit. If everyone did something simple like this every day the world would be a better place.”
The best part of the story is that this isn't the first time Hagarty has done this. He's been doing things like this for years, influenced by his father who would buy sandwiches for people. Aww, well isn't that great? Something that we can all be onboard with... oh crap the leftists are coming.
Yep, it seems many leftists already believe this to be a discriminatory practice. They believe that buying "food" for a homeless person instead of giving them money is "embarrassing" and shouldn't be done. Either give them exactly the money they want, for whatever they want, or you're a privileged jerk. No really, click here to read more about it.
I think it's great, and I'll continue to think that it's great. Just one good man doing one good deed, who happens to be a cop. Especially today on 9/11, we are grateful for Sgt. Hagarty and all police officers.
And we apologize on behalf of liberals who spend all day attacking you with their hands up. What can we say? They're just anti-cop bigots.
