Portland, like most progressive cities on the Left coast, has become a safe haven for homeless people, who dot the landscape with tents, broken-down vehicles, used needles, and piles of sh*t. And while the liberals who live in these places continue to vote for the same moronic politicians who condone the problem, they will turn around and complain about having to live with it. And that's what is happening in Portland now.

Portland is a lefty paradise. It's where lesbian bars can't be woke enough to please the woke mob, where restaurants are ransacked, and where pedophiles of all sorts call home. It's also a giant homeless encampment that might give Sacramento a run for its money.

Several residents voiced their concerns and complaints to KGW8.

"I'm living in a nightmare," one resident said. "I want to cry. I just want my house back. My lawn is now becoming a public bathroom. And it's scary when you have grown men meth-raging in your driveway."

"I feel like nobody hears us. Nobody cares about us," another woman said, holding back tears.

The city of Portland has received reports of over 1,900 homeless encampments just this week. And the camps aren't the only repercussions of allowing these people to set up shop. A local business owner--who is wearing a tie-dyed shirt--lamented hobos coming in off the street to bathe themselves in his bathroom sinks, scaring off customers.

"I've come into the bathroom and found people standing there in their underwear, scrubbing up in the sink in a sports bar bathroom. It unnerves our customers when they pull in and they see people overdosing on the sidewalks out in front of our restaurant."

This sounds like exactly what the people of Portland voted for and I'm happy for them. If they don't like what their city has become, maybe they'll vote differently next time. I'm not holding my breath, but anything is possible, I suppose.
