During a press conference on Friday, September 6th, President Donald Trump addressed the Mug Club Undercover investigation that exposed the lawfare being committed against the former president.

“Just revealed today, and I hope you’re going to do a story because it’s a big story. The Southern District of New York, and this is a very highly respected group of people, he said it was a disgrace that case was brought," said Trump. Nicholas Biase, a senior official at the U.S. Justice Department's Southern District of New York referred to Trump's persecution as a "perversion of justice" led by Manhattan District Attorney, Alvin Bragg, to hurt Trump's chances in the 2024 presidential election.
