There is no more common ground on abortion. I'd argue there never was common ground on abortion, but that's for another time. Yesterday, Senate Democrats voted down a bill to protect babies born alive after botched abortions. Meaning Democrats want babies killed inside the womb and outside the womb. The move sparked these two tweets from President Donald Trump:

Yes, Democrats are the party of baby execution. I'll echo the sentiment of a little known tumbler merchant who deals in asbestos and say Trump should hit this point from now until the election. Trump is also right in saying the vote against infants will be remembered in history. I'd take it one step further, abortion will be known as the worst thing humanity has ever done. It may take 50 years for the attitude to take hold, maybe more. But there is nothing worse than killing children. I'm including all you monsters who'll leave comments providing your reasons for why you think it's okay to kill your children.

Where Trump is wrong is "innocent babies." Democrats don't think of babies slated for abortion as "innocent." Democrats think of those babies as expendable. They see those babies as dollar signs to be later funneled into their PACs. The same Democrats who want a better future for children, at least in their political stump speeches.
